Day 123 PP

Weigh In - 15 stone 3.5llbs / 213.5llbs / 96.84kgs

Total lost this week 2.25llbs.

I still don't feel right, coldy, bloated, horrid really. In a way I feel disappointed to have only lost 2.25llbs! I know that this is silly, 2.25llbs in a week is great, I know it is...... I think I'm just in the wrong frame of mind, feeling a bit down.

That's all for now folks!

Have a good day xoxo

  1. You're doing great! Feeling bloated is the worst, I know. Cutting out wheat is what works for me, and I feel the best when I am low-carb. Have you figured out what is causing the bloating? Have you tried probiotics? Feel better!

    1. Thanks Veera. Its TOTM bloating. It's just strange because I don't normally suffer with this and up till now in the diet I've not had bloating at all during my TOTM. But then again this month has been a strange one when it comes to PMS, etc, so I shouldn't be surprised!

  2. Awww Sonia..it's bad enough to have a cold, and then to be bloated on top is just the pits. Have you considered water pills to alleviate the bloating? Most pharmacies carry those...think about it, would be one less thing bugging you.

You did great, keep the faith, and your weight will keep going down, down, down, down. Chin up !

    1. Thanks Archana, I really appreciate your encouragement. Do water pills work when the bloating is because of TOTM? I'm on a P&V day tomorrow so I will have some asparagus, that normally helps. Hope your loss is going well. x

  3. Sonia, I have no direct experience with the water pills, but I have friends who recommend it, and yes, it's for PMS related bloating.

I am baffled by my own PMS issues as well, this time, apart from my Vit B, I have also resorted to taking a CoQ-10 once a day, for the last 3 days.

I took the CoQ-10 this time as I was starting to feel really fatigued for no apparent reason, and during last month's bout with PMS, the fatigue really knocked me out.

So CoQ-10 for the fatigue and lack of energy, and the Vit B for all the other assorted issues, seems to be working this time. I have had no bloating so far and I feel very non-PMSy and much like myself, altho ToM is due mid-week next week.

So far, this combo has kept the PMS demons away, so fingers crossed, I've cracked the formula. At this time last month, I was a total mess.

I am going to ease up on the CoQ-10 once TOM arrives, and just go back to my merry ways with the Vit B.

Last month, I was miserable for two weeks before the darn thing showed up, so I am determined to stay ahead this time..So I truly understand what you're going through.

It's like I'm scarred for life when it comes to PMS, LOL.

Hang in there, you may have to experiment and find out what works for you with a bit of trial and error.

Make sure you're drinking a lot of water too..

    Cheers.
