Day 155 P&V - Stupid quarter of a pound!!!!!!!

13 Mar - SAME weight
14 Mar - 14st 5.25llbs / 201.25llbs / 91.28kgs (Loss 0.5llb)

Quarter of a pound off my next goal (2/3rds of the way through), Moonday did say getting under 200llbs would be the hardest bit!!!!!!

Still feeling pretty bloated (TOTM) and bowel movements are shall we say not happening. Anyone got any recommendations for herbal teas or such like?

Also I didnt eat enough for dinner last night, I was too tired so I just nibbled, bad choice, my stomach was rumbling by 3am when my darling daughter decided she was going to wake the whole street up with screaming for 3/4 hours!!!!! Give me strength (or caffeine will do)!!!!!

****I still cant seem to get it into my head that Im in the 14 stones. Every morning I write down my weight and I write 15 stone every time!!!!!! Anyone else done this??? Its like my mind doesnt believe my weight. Fat girl mentality???****

Hope everyone's having a good day xoxo

On the exercise front I did do 30+ minutes on my cross trainer on Saturday / 1.9km's / 58.3cals burned. Not as good as I would like but Im doing what I can given the fact Im absolutely exhausted. No weights or stretches either as my lower back is quite painful at moment.

  1. Hang in there mama-san. The bowel issue alone could account for some of that, plus the stress of waking at night...That durn .25# will go, just as surely as the other 79+ have G-O-N-E! I was really successful last week using the colon meridian which runs from the left pointer finger tip up the inside (not underside) all the way up the neck ending at the base of the nose, left side also. Palpate there lightly.
I believe it takes some time for the brain to catch up with the body. Here's a suggestion to prompt your brain into the new you. Post your new LOWER weight in two prominent places in your house, ie: bathroom mirror, above kitchen sink. Write it out as an affirmation, "I weigh 14 stone" and each time you see it, say it aloud or silently. Sometimes the grey matter needs some help:) xo

  2. Well, once your bathroom issue is resolved, you'll probably drop under 200! Anyway, if you wanted to do some sort of tea, most herbal tea companies have some sort of "Smooth Move" type tea, or then straight senna. I would do it on a day you have access to the bathroom on a regular basis, you never know how urgent your need might be, since it's your first time with the product.

On the exercise front, it's usually recommended to have lighter and heavier days of activity, so it's OK to have a day of just cardio, no weights. You're doing great!

    1. Thanks for the tip Veera (and the heads up about being near a bathroom!) LOL.
I always expect too much of myself. I think I worry about going too far the other way and not expecting enough! Some balance is needed I think. I just dont want any regrets I suppose. xo

  4. Getting under 200 was killer for me as well but when I look back at my stats page, I was losing the same speed I was just too excited to there and time was going by slower!

Keep it up, it WILL come off.

The biggest "Omg... wait I have lost weight moment!" I have ever had is when I went underwear shopping at Lasenza. I hadn't been since starting the diet and had lost 100 lbs at this point. I saw 7 for 27$ and thought "Hey that's a good deal" picked out 7 pairs of XLs and went to the cash. While waiting in line I started looking at the underwear and thought... hey... these are pretty big, are they too big for me? Held them up to my body and yeah, they were huge.

Went out and had to figure out my new underwear size... medium! Really a revalation XD

    xo

    1. I love those kinds of moments! They reaffirm that all the hard work is so worth it. I bet anyone who saw you in line thought "what is she doing with those huge pants!" LOL.

I sped through all my initial goals so quickly that now it feels like its taking longer. But really I know that Im just bugged because I set myself an over ambitious goal and didnt reach it, so theres a lesson there! xoxo

  6. Sonia, here is a link: http://pcomsharing.wetpaint.com/page/Acupuncture+Point+I+Diagram+2+-+The+Large+Intestine+Meridian+of+Hand-Yangming+%28LI%29
The only really funny thing is that when my LMT did the technique on me, it was definitely on the left side, and the result was powerful. It's possible that it is on the R for the men as TCM follows yin/yang et.al. and it could be that for women it is on the left....not sure, since I'm no TCM and have only had the technique done once professionally and since used it, with success on my own. Hope that helps.
